In 2002, I started making jewelry professionally. Since that time my work has been represented in well over 100 different galleries, stores, museums, airports, casinos, gas stations and more recently the Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery store in Washington, D.C., and the Seattle Art Museum store. When I started illustrating children's books and spending time traveling and teaching art, jewelry making took a back seat. You can still, on occasion, find my work on my Etsy site. This technique of enameling I developed about 10 years ago while accidentally mixing layers combined with visions that I had been having of shark teeth, moths and arrowheads.
